Nice video! Too bad the mic audio broke but I could feel the stress anyway. I'm hard at work on my next game, that will be a full game. Will hopefully reveal it in a couple of months. πŸ₯³πŸ‘»

Thank you! Im still amazed over how nice people have been on itch. Whats the secret and why isnt all of the internet lile this. πŸ˜…

Very nice website and articles you have! πŸ”₯ Will check it out more. :)

great game, even though it's super short. Would love to see more from it (wonderful concept). However, the gamepad interaction could be tweaked a little bit, but, that could very well be an issue on my end (I may have setup bad settings for myself), but overall, an absolutely wonderful game. I do suggest allowing players to dynamically switch between the two controls if they so choose, as when I was trying play and switch controls I had to exit the game completely to get it to register the keyboard and mouse again. Though, if you were to add the dynamic switching, I'd suggest an option in the settings to allow players to turn it on/off, that way they're not dealing with the mouse/keyboard getting tapped while they're using the gamepad (and vice versa) and wondering why they've suddenly turned around or randomly activating a random function in the game.

Thanks Ryuu! Glad you liked it and I totally agree with your feedback. The controller issue is on my end. I didnt know all the stuff that went into controller usage. However, this is fixed on my new game im working on. It will have full controller support. :)

In this video I play a total of 3 scary games; Trapdoor, Cabin and Walking home alone. These games had me on my toes. All games were filled with intense horror and fist clinching thrills. One where I had to talk through text to save my Girlfriend and one where I had to run away and still ended up getting caught by a monster and the last one was me running away trying to enter my house.

Very good video! Even I jumped the first time you died and I made the game. πŸ˜…

NO WAY I loved it. Do you have any other games cooking up?

I played it. I like the art style and the atmosphere you create here. I was honestly scared shitless when I was at the door, entering the code and just hearing a chainsaw mad man behind me, anxiously closing in. A full game would be much appreciated!

You really had me freaking out at the end!  Loved the forest environment you made.

Glad you liked it and go freaked out! :)

Despite being sick while playing it, I really enjoyed it. Short, sweet and had me paranoid!

I had a huge smile on my face when I completed this. It's short obviously but the atmosphere truly was great and the lighting was gorgeous.

A lot of horror games that try to stress you just put you in some kind of maze where you're supposed to collect something and avoid a monster. It's rare that you're actually forced to do a specific task under pressure and I enjoyed it a lot. It was very refreshing and I would hope to see more games do something like this.

All in all, good proof of concept. I had a lot of fun so thanks for making it. :]

Many thanks! The concept of doing specific tasks under pressure will be a main focus of my next game. :)

Nice game !

Very nice video! Loved to hear a scared scream in (I guess) French! πŸ™Œ

Dang, as a proof of concept game this is really well made, the atmosphere is nearly perfect and I was honestly terrified while playing it!

It's the third game in my video and it starts at 28:00

Game is HELLA buggy. I can't even play it because it maxes my GPU out to 100% on medium-low settings. Keep in mind I can play most games fine that have higher quality textures but this one specifically is an issue

Wow!

Very excellent my friend. You have a great talent for creating atmospheric and tense environments. Although it was just a proof of concept, instead of killing you at the end when you entered the large estate, it should have reinforced the neccesity for a fundamental understanding of the philosophy of taxation as it relates to property rights, democracy, public justification, state neutrality, stability, and political psychology. Many of these deep and challenging philosophical questions about tax have not always received as much sustained attention as they clearly merit. But I hoped that this proof of concept "game" would change that by advancing the debate along a number of these philosophical fronts. Please remake the entire thing to incorporate these fundamental concepts. Instead of a num pad to enter the door, you could query the player with a small questionnaire of property rights, then and only then may they be allowed entrance.

Thank you.

good short experience. You wanted it to be stressful and it definitely was haha! Be interested to see what is next with this game.

This was really good for how short it was! It caused panic in me because i was not expecting the chainsaw and being chased at all at that point. good job! here's my playthrough if you wanna see! (its the first one XP)
